Asti's Ferret Haven
Asti's Ferret Haven is a sister site of Stinky Pete's Ferret Retreat. They are located in Melbourne Florida. We have been working closely with Jenny for the past few months. We are proud to have them aboard!
My name is Jenny the Ferret MOM of 13 BEAUTIFUL BABIES... I have started this Haven for Ferrets because there are so many babies who need a HOME, that they will always be taken care of,LOVED and have plenty of cage free time. I will always give them the very best care and love as long as I am able to do so. There are no Ferret Rescues in my area and starting out is going to be tough and alot of work. My goal is to have a large HAVEN with a enough room for aleast 20 fuzzies.. Why do you ask so many?? Well I don't think I would have that many at one time, but want to have the room, so I don't have to say " I'm sorry but I don't have the space".. Ferrets require alot of time and need someone who can recognize the signs of illness as they can be fine one moment and crash the next. I have 6 years experience and have shed many,many of a tear and have had my heart broken by having to let my babies Scooter and Tinker go to The Bridge. I think people have good intentions when they get these babies, but misunderstand them when they start biting and become destructive, then it's abuse them, leave them locked up or dump them off at the pound or throw them outside. Ferrets can not live outside and will die, especially in the heat. I hope my fellow weasel lovers will support me and let others know of my cause. I will let all know of my plans and how things are going...
