wonderful website. thanks for all the info. I am not a ferret rescue but have taken in ferrets for the last 10 years or so. I have 7 currently and got a call from someone last night asking me to take 2 more. She is in the 407 area code. I'm wondering if I could send her your way. They are 2 albinos M & F. please let me know if you could help her as I feel I have reached a limit for now. thanks

Hi.  Greatest ferret page I have ever seen!  I have 4.  Do you know whatever happened to Ferrets-N-Limbo, though?

They closed up a few years ago.  Something about the shelter mom moving.  So, I figured they babies needed help so I started smile

Ran across your site today.  Great Site!  I live in Southern Illinois.  I own 3 ferrets currently, had 4 and one (Poco) passed this February 14, : (.  Their names are Mickey, Minni (Adopted from pet store, owner abandoned them) and Izzy.  Keep up the great work! Enjoyed your site and bookmarked it. ;)

Hello! I am a ferret lover and I own a fuzzie who is a rescue, I am very involved in the pet industry since I attend school for pet grooming at the Florida Institute Of Animal Arts, so when any of my friends find a homeless pet they call me first. About a week ago I got a call from a neighbor informing me about a little ferret seen behind his house in the bushes, so I went and managed to catch her. She is a little female, maybe two years old, she was very skinny and had really long nails which tells me that either she's been lost for a while or she got loose from a not so well informed ferret owner. This little jill is a dark sable cutie. I wanted to place her myself in a home but Ive had no luck, and something that plays against her is that she bites (not nips, BITES!). When I hold her she appears to be very tense, I have no idea what she's gone through in her life, but this girl has heavy luggage. She does get along very well with my cat though, they are like best friends, so thats a positive. I contacted you guys because I feel stranded at the moment. As much as I would love to keep her I have my hands full at the moment, plus, myu boyfriend refuses to let me turn our little apartment into a zoo (LOL). I would really appreciate if you guys can help me find a forever home for this little girl, someone with experience handling ferrets with issues like her. I understand that you guys are a small home based rescue, so if you don't have the space to take her in I dont mind holding on to her until we can find her a home. I live in Orange County Orlando and refuse to take her to the shelter here since its not a no-kill shelter and for sure they will put her down. I know there's potential in her, she just needs someone with the time, knowledge and patience to make her shine. I really appreciate your help. Yours Trully, Mel.

I have your site under my favorites. I found it by someone on craigslist that had a ferret for rehoming. She had already found a new home for her ferret but gave me this website to check out. We now have 3 furry babies running around our house. I had to laugh after reading your ferret terminology page. The ferret math really hit home with us. We started out with only getting one ferret from someone that wanted to find a new home for her ferret. Then we ended up getting 2 more a few weeks ago. I mean there is myself and 3 kids. My son has his dog so of course when it came to ferret math my girls and I had to have our own pets. So we all made the choice to get a ferret each. We love them all so much and enjoy having them in our lives. I keep doing even more research on ferrets so that I can make sure our furry babies are getting everything they need. To say the least they are very spoiled babies. I am so glad there are people like you so that all the unwanted ferrets can have the chance they deserve at a happy life. Thank you for all the work you do.

He gives me smooches now and loves to play. Bugsy Malone and Roman have become great pals and Windy and Crystal love snuggling with him! Am looking forward to another ferret fun day too! You are to be commended for your wonderful work at rehoming all these ferrets in need!
